Deià

Good for a Tramuntana village, a hotel with a famous kitchen and a swim at Cala Deià.

Deià is one steep street of stone houses in the Serra de Tramuntana, and Robert Graves lived here. La Residencia is the grand address, with El Olivo as its restaurant, and the village has Nama, Xelini, Tramuntana Grill, Sebastian and de moniö for the rest. Down at the cove, Ca's Patró March serves fish a few metres from the water. Sa Foradada is the long coastal lunch, at the end of a walk. Park outside the village and walk in, since the road is narrow and full by midday.
