Santa Catalina

Good for a covered market, small restaurants and a contemporary art museum.

Santa Catalina was the fishermen's quarter and is now where Palma eats. The Mercat de Santa Catalina is the centre of it, with Buscando el Norte, Vandal, El Txoko de Martín and Naan Street Food on the streets around. Hogan's and Boski keep the evenings going. Es Baluard, the contemporary art museum, sits inside a Renaissance bastion of the old city walls at the edge. Book dinner, because the good tables go early.
