Sóller

Good for the wooden train from Palma, orange groves and the port at the end of the tram.

Sóller sits in a bowl of mountains and the old wooden train from Palma is half the reason to come. The square holds the Sant Bartomeu church, and the station hosts Sala Picasso and Sala Miró, so you can see both in the first hour. Eat at La Romaguera or Re Organic, and get an ice cream at Gelat Sóller. Fornalutx is the stone village up the valley, Ca N'Antuna is there for lunch, and Patiki Beach is down at Port de Sóller. Allow a full day, since the valley is spread out.
