Good for small squares, wine bars and bakeries that locals actually use.

Gràcia was its own town until 1897 and still behaves like one, with squares, small bars and almost no hotels. Casa Vicens is Gaudí's first house, the Mercat de la Llibertat is the local market, and Bocanariz and Viblioteca are the wine bars. Salvatge Coffee, Origo Bakery and Oz Bakery handle the mornings. Come in mid August for the Festa Major, or avoid that week if you hate crowds.
