Unter den Linden is built to impress and the places along it follow suit. Grill Royal does steak on the water, Dóttir serves modern Nordic cooking, and Windhorst is the cocktail bar with the gold lighting. Komische Oper and the Berliner Ensemble handle the evening. Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus has six floors of books and records and somewhere to eat inside.
