Okochi Sanso Garden serves matcha on a hillside above the crowd. % ARABICA Kyoto Arashiyama sits by the water, and the tourist cafes lean cute with Arashiyama Miffy Sakura Kitchen and Arashiyama Rilakkuma Tea House. Kotogase Chaya is reached by boat, and HOSHINOYA Kyoto is the riverside place to stay if money is no object. Be there early, or after the groups leave.
