Good for ramen, tea cocktails and kaiseki a few streets south of Shijo.

Takatsuji is the quieter band south of Shijo, where the places are smaller and stranger. Men-ya Inoichi and Men-ya Inoichi Hanare make the ramen, Honke Tankuma Honten does kaiseki and Chururu does handmade udon. KAMEE COFFEE KYOTO TAKATSUJI and WEEKENDERS COFFEE ROASTERY, in a courtyard, cover the daytime. At night Garden Lab Tea & Bar makes tea cocktails, Kingdom is known for tomato drinks, and KamoTomo is a retro gaming bar.
