Avenida da Liberdade is the grand boulevard, and the best of it is a few steps off the main drag. Hot Club of Portugal is an underground jazz room, SEEN Sky Bar and the Hotel Tivoli rooftop sell the view, and Jardim do Torel is a hilltop garden spot with its own. Cervejaria Liberdade and Solar dos Presuntos handle seafood, and Yakuza by Olivier covers Japanese.
