Graça

Good for viewpoints, natural wine and hilltop gardens.

Graça is the hill above Alfama, and the views are the draw. The Miradouro da Senhora do Monte looks across the whole city, and the Jardim da Cerca da Graça is a hilltop garden for a picnic. Vino Vero and Lapso both pour natural wine, Bom Bom Bom mixes vinyl with wine, and Via Graça cooks Portuguese food high above the city. Small, steep and worth the climb.
