Good for a rooftop garden, riverside pubs and very good coffee.
Canary Wharf is built for the working week and improves at the weekend once the suits go home. Watchhouse does the coffee, the Crossrail Place roof garden is free and mostly empty, and the Grapes is an old riverside pub with the towers standing behind it. Billingsgate is the early start, if you are serious about fish.
