West Village

Good for tiny cocktail bars, Italian dinners worth queueing for and quiet crooked streets.

The West Village is mostly low brick and tight corners, and the food is in the details. Via Carota and Don Angie are the Italian tables everyone tries for, Waverly Inn is the cosier, older option, and 4 Charles Prime Rib is a small room for a very large steak. Katana Kitten and Bar Pisellino handle the drinks. Via Carota keeps tables for walk-ins, so go early and expect to wait.
