Dotonbori

Good for the Glico sign, crab on the canal and takoyaki at every turn.

Dotonbori is the neon canal everyone photographs, and the Glico sign is the shot. Kani Doraku has the crab, Dotonbori Imai does udon in a quiet traditional room, and Creo-Ru and Takoyaki Wanaka keep the takoyaki coming. Cremia sells soft serve for the riverbank, and Lord Stow's Bakery does custard pastries. It is a spectacle first and a dinner second, so eat early and leave the canal before the crowd thickens.
