Good for vintage shops, cocktail bars and a village feel next to the Forum.

Monti is the part of central Rome that feels like a neighbourhood. Flamingo, Pifebo, King Size and Humana make it the vintage street of the city, Fatamorgana is the gelato stop, and Drink Kong and Blackmarket Hall carry the evening. La Carbonara and Trieste Pizza feed you between shops, and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni hosts exhibitions a few minutes up toward Via Nazionale. A good first stop on the way from the Colosseum.
