Pantheon
Good for coffee queues, gelato and trattorias a minute from the dome.
The Pantheon is the reason people come and the coffee is the reason they stay. Sant' Eustachio Caffè roasts its own beans, Tazza d'Oro is a short walk away and Giolitti has been scooping gelato since the turn of the last century. Armando al Pantheon and Osteria delle Coppelle are the sit-down lunches, and L'Eau Vive is French food served by nuns who sing. All'Antico Vinaio is crowded for good reason. Gammarelli, a menswear and vestment shop since 1798, is worth a look in the window.
