Ponte and Via Giulia

Good for tasting menus on Via Giulia and pasta in the lanes by the river.

Ponte runs along Via Giulia and the lanes behind it, and the food is more serious than in the squares nearby. Il Pagliaccio and PER ME Giulio Terrinoni are the tasting-menu bookings, Il Goccetto is the wine bar, and Cesare al Pellegrino and Da Francesco are the plainer lunches. Ceramiche Nicola Fasano makes pottery on site, and Forno Monteforte is the bakery. Quiet in the evening, which is the point.
