Ginza

Good for sushi counters, flagship stores and Kabuki-za.

Ginza is Tokyo at its most formal, and most of what people save here is dinner. Sushi Daizen, Sawada and Kobikicho Tomoki are the counters, with Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura and L'Osier at the other end of the scale. By day it is Kabuki-za, the Seiko House clock tower, Dover Street Market and the stationery floors of Ginza Itoya. Ginza Bairin Honten does tonkatsu in a basement for a cheaper lunch. The good counters book out, so reserve.

Categories show up here once we hold at least 8 places for them. Thin pages help nobody.
