Paddington is a station with a neighbourhood attached, and the neighbourhood is better than it gets credit for. The Cheese Barge is a floating restaurant on the basin doing exactly what the name promises, Lockhouse and Halepi cover dinner, and there is a sculpture of a man inside a clock that stops people mid-walk. Little Venice is ten minutes north.
