Best Restaurants in Paddington (2026): Eat Like You Live Here
Paddington is good for canal-side eating and a bakery by the station, and the restaurants people save most are The Cheese Barge, Halepi and Lockhouse. Ranked from 15 places we track here, creator picks first.
Updated · 15 places we track in Paddington, all first recorded in March 2026
Paddington is a station with a neighbourhood attached, and the neighbourhood is better than it gets credit for. The Cheese Barge is a floating restaurant on the basin doing exactly what the name promises, Lockhouse and Halepi cover dinner, and there is a sculpture of a man inside a clock that stops people mid-walk. Little Venice is ten minutes north.
How we chose
We track 15 places in Paddington filed under restaurants. Some of them turned up in creator videos we pulled apart. Places with a creator mention, a member save or a member gem rank first, and mentions weigh most. The rest runs on a broader popularity signal from our wider place index, so the tail of this list moves less than the top does. Last added to in March 2026.
