Best Restaurants in San Marco (2026): Dinner You'll Still Be Talking About
San Marco is good for the basilica, the campanile and coffee under the arcades, and the restaurants people save most are Dal Moro's, St. Mark's Square and Pasta & Pasta. Ranked from 12 places we track here, creator picks first.
Updated · 12 places we track in San Marco, all first recorded in March 2026
Saint Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace and the Museo Correr surround the square, and the Campanile and the Clock Tower both let you climb for the view. Caffè Florian and Caffè Quadri are the famous cafes, priced to match. Harry's Bar, where the bellini was born, sits a few steps off the water. Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo is the quiet one, a 1400s spiral staircase hidden in a courtyard. Go early or late. By midday the square is a queue.
How we chose
We track 12 places in San Marco filed under restaurants. The rest runs on a broader popularity signal from our wider place index, so the tail of this list moves less than the top does. Last added to in March 2026.
